This research direction bridges basic research and industrial application. Based on the genetic characteristics and basic metabolic functions of microorganisms, and the basic technologies of synthetic biology, we aim to study elaborately on microorganisms by means of genomic analysis, metabolic engineering and omics-analysis, revealing the regulatory mechanisms of genetic development and metabolism of microorganisms, which is highly supportive for the development and utilization of industrial microorganism.
