Research Interests
1.Bioremediation and utilization of environmental pollutants
Bioremediation and utilization of environmental pollutants include the application of nanotechnology inenvironmentalpollutants and heavy metals bioremediation, the biodegradation of environmental pollutants in microbial fuel cells,and the extracellular electron transport mechanism ofelectroactive microorganisms.
2. Construction of biosensor based on nanomaterials
The immobilization of enzymes, microbial cells, and using nanomaterials as supports;the construction of biosensors based on the biocomposites constructed by nanomaterials and enzyme, microbial cells orantigen/antibody; the application of resulted biosensors in environmentalpollutants monitoring, food safety detection, and medical diagnosis.
